Alexandra Lutz is the Director of Health Care Policy and Management Programs at the Heinz College of Carnegie Mellon University. In this role, Alex manages the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management and the Master of Science in Health Care Analytics and Information Technology programs. This involves curriculum management, student advising, and collaborating with the Admissions, Career Services, and Marketing departments to best prepare the next generation of industry leaders and innovators.
Prior to joining CMU, Alex held positions in strategy development, project management, and operations management at Highmark Health, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Cleveland Clinic.
Alex holds a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management and Bachelor of Science in Decision Science and Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She completed her Administrative Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
Alex has been involved in ACHE since her student membership in 2012 and currently serves on the Marketing & Membership Committee. Alex also serves on the board of her neighborhood association in Hampton Township.
