What is the Early Careerist Network?
The Early Careerist Network (ECN) of ACHE of Western PA is a dynamic group for members and Fellows under the age of 40. We’re dedicated to providing resources, connections, and opportunities to help you thrive in your healthcare career.
As an ACHE member or Fellow under 40, you are automatically part of the ECN!
We focus on the unique needs of early careerists and students in the Western PA region, providing a platform for professional development, networking, and leadership growth. We host monthly meetings to discuss upcoming events and planning, enhancement of the chapter and committee, and career interests focused towards early careerists.

Are you passionate about helping fellow early careerists succeed? Do you want to develop your leadership skills and make a difference in the ACHE of Western PA? Join the ECN Committee!
What You’ll Do:
- Select, coordinate, and plan chapter ECN educational sessions, professional development, and networking events.
- Support ECN event planning and execution including but not limited to topic research, educational credit applications, venue selection, and speakers.
- Support achievement of annual chapter goals including participation in strategic planning activities.
- Eligibility:
- Must be a member of the ACHE of Western PA. No prior experience necessary!
- Participate monthly virtual meetings.
- A minimum of 1 year participation.
