President’s Message

Dear Members,

I am reaching out as your Chapter President for 2026. I’m humbled by the opportunity to work with you and to serve our members and the broader ACHE organization.

As we begin the year, our priorities for 2026 are: Financial Stability, Leadership Advancement & Growth, Community & Academic Partnerships and Member Engagement & Experience. As we closed out 2025, we were able to align these priorities with supporting goals that will help drive our Chapter forward. We are already off to a fast start just a few months into the calendar year.

Our Chapter kicked off quarter one with many members attending ACHE’s Congress in Houston feeling refreshed and reenergized to advance our profession. In addition, we partnered with local HFMA and AAHAM chapters to host a joint Western PA Healthcare Symposium, A Financial, Revenue Cycle & Administration Collaboration on March 12 at the Rivers Casino. This in-person event, focusing on the latest legislative, regulatory, economic, financial, and technological trends offered up to 5.75 ACHE Qualifying Credits to attendees.

Our Programming Committee led by RandiLynn Lukac is developing a diverse slate of in-person and virtual education, several of which were already held in quarter two. In addition, our Early Careerist Network Chair, Sonal Baidwan and Marketing & Membership Chairs, Melissa McMorrow and Kelley Bettem, are formulating an agenda to include several networking events and site visits to supplement your continued education options.

And finally, be sure to visit our revamped website to learn more about the Chapter, upcoming events, and contact us with general questions or your interests in volunteer opportunities.

As always, thanks for everything that you do each day on behalf of ACHE in advancing health care leadership excellence across our region.

Stephanie Dorwart
