With so many provider mergers in recent memory, the healthcare landscape in Southwestern Pennsylvania is changing before our eyes. This mirrors a national M&A trend that rebounded in 2004. Why would a hospital choose to merge in the first place, and how is the community affected? This panel of experts will answer these questions and more.
As an officially designated Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Southwestern Pennsylvania Healthcare Executives is authorized to award 1.0 hours of Category II continuing education credit toward advancement or recertification in the ACHE. Participants in this program who wish to have it considered for Category II (non-ACHE) credit should list their attendance when they apply to the ACHE for advancement or recertification.
