Mark Kresse, FACHE

A physical therapist by training, Mark Kresse’s 28 year healthcare career includes clinical and administrative positions that span hospital, private practice, consulting and physician practice management settings.  A Vice President at Saint Vincent Health System in Erie, Pennsylvania, he is responsible for all inpatient and outpatient Heart Center planning and operations, serves as Executive Director of the Regional Heart Network, and is service-line leader for orthopedics and neurosciences.

Mark is a graduate of Ithaca College, and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Indianapolis.  He earned board certification in healthcare administration in 2005, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mark has been a speaker on operational and quality improvement for the American College of Cardiovascular Administrators, the Lumedx Cardiovascular Symposium, and the Premier HQID Open House program.  He was lead author of a paper published in the American Journal of Medical Quality on the implementation of evidence-based practices, recently ranked as one of the journal’s top-50 most frequently read articles.
