ACHE Western PA Role: Chair, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Nick is a mission driven Internal Financial Consultant at Elevance Health skilled in financial planning & analysis, healthcare delivery operations and teaching.
He has experience working on both the provider and payor sides of healthcare delivery and is currently focused on supporting FP&A and the outlook process for Carelon Behavioral Health (a subsidiary of Elevance Health). In this role Nick also provides guidance and analysis that helps to drive Cost of Care initiatives to help improve quality and lower care delivery costs. In addition to serving as the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Chair for ACHE of Western PA, Nick is an active board member of the Pennsylvania Association for Healthcare Quality.
In his previous role as a Value-Based Financial Analyst, Nick supported the development and maintenance of a medicaid managed care shared savings program focused on improving quality and reducing costs for Highmark Wholecare.
Nick has a B.S. in Biology and French from University of Scranton and an MHA from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia where he currently serves as a masters level adjunct instructor.
