Associate Vice President, Clinical Operations

Michele Fischer is the Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations for Premise Health, a leader in working with large organizations, often self-funded employers, to provide healthcare to their people both digitally and in-person. In this role, she oversees national clinical operations at over 800 wellness centers in 45 states and Guam, driving clinical practice standardization, development, and execution for the care of more than 11 million members. She has extensive experience in operations, clinical strategy, project leadership, process improvement, change management, coaching, and mentoring.
Michele earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in nursing from Penn State University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from George Washington University. She is a nationally certified family nurse practitioner and has 18 years of experience in acute, urgent, emergency and primary care, and healthcare leadership. She is board certified in lifestyle medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She has previously served as clinical faculty for Penn State University and Widener University. She is a member of ACHE, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
