LaJuana moved to Pittsburgh in 2012 to direct women’s imaging (9 breast imaging centers throughout Greater Pittsburgh) for Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. Prior to this, she held multiple leadership roles with St. John Providence Health System in Detroit, Michigan.
A healthcare professional with 30 years combined clinical and administrative experience holding an undergraduate degree in Radiologic Technology, a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Health Leadership with Capella University. She has Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
LaJuana currently holds the office of President for the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) and is an officer on the Board of Directors of YCWA Greater Pittsburgh. And is a member of the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) and has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) for thirteen years.
